Detached Edwardian Property in South Hampshire
A Fresh, Energy Efficient and Sympathetic replacement for ageing sash windows.
The sash windows in the property were getting rather old and in some places the frames were completely rotten, detracting from the overall look of the house. The customer was keen to see the different ranges we had to offer to freshen them up.
After a consultation with Tony and a look at our sample windows, they decided to replace their windows with our Timber Alternative UPVC sash windows. With their A rating for energy efficiency, maintenance free design and robust security features they were an excellent choice. Alongside all these modern features, they are virtually indistinguishable from the original windows, and they have really helped enhance the street view of the house.
The internal timberwork around the large bays was able to remain in situ while the installation was carried out, with some extra timberwork to accommodate the new windows, keeping the character of the building on the interior too.

Tony and the team were so helpful from the initial consultation and quotation through to installation. No pushy sales pitches at all - in fact he made some helpful suggestions to keep costs down without compromising on the quality. Their quote was also cheaper than some competitors.
Overall, the project ran to time and budget. The installation team were great - tidy, polite, professional, and extremely skilled. It was of course disruptive to family life given the nature of the project, but it didn't feel stressful, and communication was excellent.
I'd be very happy to use Box Clever again if we had any more sash windows to replace! Would happily recommend.
