Creating an 'exact match' with engineered timber sash windows.
We're pleased to say that the customer found out about Box Clever on a local internet forum.
The work was at a Edwardian house with ornate Georgian style windows. The customer wanted us to copy exactly to match with the other houses in the road.
The customer chose "Engineered Timber sash windows" as the specific design could only be fabricated in wood. All the original design detailing was sent to the factory and faithfully replicated. However, although it looked the same, it was now an A-Energy rated window with concealed spring balances, instead of old cords and weights. A traditional timber window with all the benefits of modern technology and materials.
We also created bespoke architraves to match the original in the house on door the linings.
