Softwood timber frames causing problems
Customers moved into their property in Shepherds Bush, West London and inherited some double glazed softwood timber frames that were only 5 years old. Regretfully, they were causing problems. The timber windows had bowed slightly causing the openers to jam and stick. And, they had a low energy rating.
At first, Box Clever Sash Windows replaced the rear windows with Bygone Symphony Frames sash windows. However, the customer was so pleased that they then went ahead and changed the front of the house to sash windows as well.
